Weslaco Crime Stoppers' 11th Annual Golf Tournament was held at Tierra Santa on Saturday, November 15. Over 20 teams participated in the event, many of those golfers officers in the Weslaco Police Department. Awards were presented to the top three teams of golfers and to the Weslaco Police Officer of the Year, the Crime Stopper of the Year, and the Outstanding Media  Contributor.

Weslaco Crime Stoppers encourages members of the community to assist local law enforcement agencies in the fight against crime by overcoming the two key elements that inhibit community involvement: fear and apathy.
